5 Consequences of presenting an unholy God: a Desiring God re-blog

This is a re-blog of an article posted on Desiring God from yesterday. It references Ezekiel and since that’s the book I’m currently going through, I found it so significant and encouraging, and had to share! It is titled, “Stop apologising for God”. It addresses the issue of Christians presenting God to the world in a way that is comfortable and appealing to them – usually, a God who isn’t holy or serious about punishing sin. Revealing only part of God’s nature is to not reveal God at all, but a god they have made themselves. The author then details the 5 consequences of that for the church. Click the link below – I pray God encourages you in truth and grace!
